PERU STATE FOOTBALL SIGNS 22 NEW PLAYERS

Peru State College Football Coach Terry Clark announced Wednesday that Peru State received commitments from 22 players in their 2010 recruiting class.
Of the 22 commitments, 13 are from the state of Nebraska.
Incoming Bobcats include defensive end Zach Lempka of Sterling, quarterback/punter Blake Vitosh of Diller-Odell, and linebacker Jimmie Bunting of Brock, who is transfering to Peru State from Morningside College and Jeff Jones an offensive lineman from Rock Port.
Peru State finished 2009 with a 7-4 overall record, winning six of their last seven games. The Bobcats ranked 20th or higher in seven categories in the NAIA last season.
