Omaha, NE - The Peru State College Women’s Basketball team held an 11 point lead in the first half as they defeated MCAC foe, College of St. Mary’s.
The Cats held a 35-24 lead going into the break and held off a second half run by the Flames to take a 69-59 victory in MCAC Conference action.
Leading the way for the Bobcats were three players in double figures. Monique McDuffie, Alicia Bender and Courtney Ward each finished with 11 points in the win.
The Bobcats return to action this coming Friday and Saturday as they host Haskell University and Central Christian College at the Al Wheeler Activity Center.
