Nebraska basketball coach Doc Sadler announced Monday that freshman guard Adrien Coleman has decided to transfer at the end of the semester and will not return to play for the Huskers.
“Adrien has informed me that he will not be rejoining our team,” Sadler said. “He has worked hard and we hoped he’d provide some depth for us, but if he feels this is what is best for him, then we definitely wish him the best in the future on and off the court.”
Coleman played in six games for the Huskers, averaging 2.5 points over 9.5 minutes per game.
The Huskers will be in action tonight as they wrap up the 2009 portion of their season. Nebraska will host Southern Utah. The game can be heard live on SUNNY 101.3 with pre-game coverage beginning at 6:04 p-m.
